My name is Kiana. I also go by Artemis, or Ailynn. Or even sometimes Buttons. (I collect them/wear them/sleep with them at night) First things first; I am possibly the weirdest person you will ever come to know. But hanging out with me is usually never boring. I change constantly. Practically daily.

My whole life, I’ve had this crazy wanderlust. I’ve explored most of alberta, Bc, Sask, and some of the US plus Mexico. I love roadtrips. Most of my favourite places in the world so far are off the beaten path. History? I love it. And the people I meet on my journeys push me to keep exploring. I’ll be staying in Ireland for a year on a working vacation.

I wear fifties-inspired dresses, and rock the Indianna Jones look. I love dressing pretty(ish).  but don’t get me wrong, I’m an outdoorsy person. I prefer sleeping on the ground instead of in a RV. I love hiking, and exploring. I’ll try anything once. Cliff jumping? Yes please. Hang gliding? I’d love to try.

My favourite activity of all time? Scuba diving. Or even free diving, Snorkelling is not my thing. The silly tube just gets in my way.

 My favourite movie of all time is without a doubt; The Great Dictator.

Nothing can make me in a better mood but someone playing the fiddle. *instant smile*

I’m a huge tree hugger, and animal rights activist, But; I do eat meat; because lots of the meat alternatives make me sick. :L

I actually enjoy learning about history. Whether it is about the Dark ages, Templars, or just random facts, I soak up information like a sponge. I’m a typical sagittarius. I have an insaitable desire to know everything.

I love everything aboutnature. Sometimes I like to sit on my porch and just stare at the moon; because it’s really beautiful. I also live right by the ravine, which is great. I like to walk through there in the summertime, and just soak up the energy.

I love cars. I was planning on being a mechanic until just a while ago, when I got accepted to college. I still work on cars occsaionally, and it defintely helps me save money.
I am a student at Grant Macewan, in the Theatre Production Program. Yay for being broke, and such.

I am the [b]nerdiest[/b] person you will ever know in your whole life: I love comic books (esp. the older X-Men and Batman.) I love Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica. I actually have a wall in my room that is dedicated to Star Trek. ,_, I love pokemon. Probably one of my favourite games, besides traditional Mario games. I don’t game everyday. But that doesn’t not make me a nerd. Just means I work. And you know, the no money to buy games or a console comes into play as well.

I am a huuuge fan of swordfighting. (Real or otherwise.)HUGE Action movie junkie. Car chases, swordfighting, explosions, etc. love it.
I greatly enjoy old bookstores. I could spend hours just reading about greek mythology, and just history in general…
I enjoy my medical/crime shows. House, Crossing Jordan, Scrubs, Criminal Minds, etcetc.

I also love reading. I’ll read anything, actually. Sci fi, crime, historical fiction(is my favourite), comic books, whatever.

 
My music taste? Folk, Indie, Big band, Alternative, Acoustic, Rock, Country, Classical, Blues, and Jazz.

I prefer pubs over clubs. I like to go for a beer occasionally, or whatever, but I’m really not into “boozing it up” or whatever people my age supposedly do.
